- Description
- Culvert Value Main Roller Assembly. Main Roller, Forgings or centrifugal castings utilized for end product are to be formed from 4140 steel. Prior to machining, rollers are to be normalized (stress relieved), quenched, and tempered to provide a har dness of 30-35 on Rockwell C scale. The rollers shall then be machined to the dimensions (within tolerances shown in Request For Quote)then flame or induction harden on the outside diameter only to a maximum hardness 56-58 on Rockwell C scale. Bronze Bus hing SAE CA 932. Bronze Wear Ring SAE CA 932. Delivery will be required 90 days after award. Collect calls will not be accepted. The apparent low bidder must be regis tered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
