Description: The Huntington District is searching for security monitoring firms capable of centrally monitoring a minimum of ten remote sites simultaneously. Data transmission from the remote sites to the contractor??????s facility would be through commercially leased lines. The contractor must either be equipped for video assessment of alarm events as they happen, or be able to install the necessary equipment to adequately perform this assessment. Responding firms do not need installation capabilities, this re quest is for monitoring of existing equipment only. The contractor must be able to receive a notification of alarm through CCure-800 software, review the video feed associated with the alarm event to filter out false alarms, and call in a response if nece ssary. Note that this is only a sources sought notice. This sources sought/market research shall not be construed as a request for proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract from the results of this synopsis. There is NO solicitation document.
