- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued This solicitation, 48EMSPAINT3AC, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisiton Circular 97-17. This acquisiton is unrestricted. Schedule of items: CLIN 0001 ? Prepare and paint Display Aircraft Shells, F4, F111 and F15 to be completed and site cleared by 22 July 2004. Failing this the F4 takes priority being completed and site cleared by 22 July 2004. Completion date: 31 August 2004. Site visit can be arranged. Place of Performance: RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom. The provision at FAR52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
