Description

This is a synopsis for commercial services preformed in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Offeror will be required to operate a Shake/Juice Bar and Nutrition Center Concession (products to include shakes, fruit beverages, water, juice, low fat snacks, protein bars, specialty clothing, workout or aerobic clothing, bodybuilding gear, locks, batteries and other fitness related ?Pro Shop? items) within the Travis AFB, California, Fitness Center. Services shall be provided as required per the Request for Proposal and Statement of Work. The resultant contract will be a concessionaire contract. The Government is expecting a percentage return on gross sales. This percentage shall be a determining factor in contract award. No appropriated funds of the Government shall become due or paid to the awardee by reason of the resultant contract. This requirement shall include 1 (one) base year and 4 (four) option years. This requirement is restricted and has been set-aside for 100% small business participation. Award will be made based on the ?Best Value? to the government in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 722213 and the business size standard is $5,000,000. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. The solicitation will issue on or about 9 July 2004. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of/and changes to the solicitation and any subsequent addendums. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available to any source. All applicable documents will be posted to this web site. The only methods for receipt of proposals shall be in written form that complies with the guidelines contained in the solicitation. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor who is not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov.
