Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. Purchase Description: In Pre-Toddler Rooms: 113,116,133, and 136 remove existing cubbies and replace with wood unit containing 10 cubbies in each room and one 2-door cabinet with adjustable shelves in accordance with attached Statement of Work and drawings. Units must be natural wood finish with grey laminate tops with a bullnose design. (See sketch # 2, 3, 4, and 5) In Toddler Rooms: 117, 121, 124, and 125 remove existing cubbies and replace with wood unit containing 14 cubbies in each room in accordance with attached Statement of Work and drawings. Also replace vanity and water tables in rooms: 121, 124, and 125. All units must be natural wood finish with grey laminate tops and bullnose design to match existing rooms. (See Sketch # 6 and 7) In Pre-school Rooms: 128 and 132 remove existing units in accordance with attached Statement of Work and drawings. Install new wall units with natural wood finish with grey laminate tops and bullnose design in all rooms. Design vanities to have two sinks at child level and one adult level in each room. (See sketch # 8 and 9). In Training Room replace sink unit in accordance with sketch # 10. In Infant Rooms build and install storage units in accordance with sketch # 1. Unit must be natural wood finish. The contractor must remove and dispose all existing structures to DRMO on Robins AFB. Contractor shall quote for a quantity of 1 lot. A site visit will be held at the Child Development Center building 946 on Robins AFB, GA 31098 on June 30, 2004 at 12:00 noon. Please call before close of business on the 28th of June to make arrangements to attend site visit. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation. Quote shall be for FOB destination Robins AFB, GA 31098 and include estimated delivery date. Quote shall include contractor?s CAGE, net payment terms, and any applicable warranty provisions. Furthermore, the quote shall be submitted in the same format that invoice would be. The resultant purchase order will be Firm Fixed Price. The following incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-05 and are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212?2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items. IAW FAR 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be Price, Price related factors, and Adherence to the Purchase Description. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-7549, ATTN: Deirdre Bird or e-mailed to deirdre.bird@robins.af.mil. Response date is July 13, 2004 and anticipated award date is Aug 2, 2004. All interested parties must be registered in Contractor Central Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 for award consideration. All responsible parties are invited to submit a quote for consideration.
