- Description
- The Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia, 30904,VISN 7, has a sole source requirement to be issued to Tech Systems, Incorporated, 3400 Corporate Way, Suite 1, Duluth, Georgia 30096, for the installation of the Converter Reader Proximity Cards with an upgrade of Identipass Access Control System at the Carl Vinson Medical Center. This service will cover all labor, parts, equipment, and installation of guaranteed hardware (including parts) and software used in this system. FAR 6.302 authorizes sole source procedures. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334519 with the size standard of 500. The procurement will be conducted utilizing simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13 in conjunction with commercial items procedures of FAR Part 12. The solicitation will be available on or about June 24, 2004. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax to 478-274-5585. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Requests for hardcopy solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing and faxed to the Contracting Officer. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the URL addresses. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
