- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Spectra-Physics Laser & Photonics for the purchase of ?Millennia PRO 10s-J Laser System. Millennia PRO 10s-J Laser System must consist of the following components in the quantity of one (1) for each of the components. (1) Millennia PRO 10s-J, (2) Chiller 100w Rack for Millennia Laser, (3) Forensic Adapter, (4) Forensic Fiber ACC. The ?Millennia PRO 10s-J should be shipped to at the DEA North Central Laboratory, 536 S. Clark Street, Suite #800, Chicago, IL 60605. The proposed purchase order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Spectra-Physics Laser & Photonics under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for Spectra-Physics Laser & Photonics. The NAICS Code is 334111. The small business size is 1,000. The acquisition will be conducted through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 ?Simplified Acquisition Procedures?. No solicitation is available. Closing date is July 1, 2004.
