- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with David Pahinski to perform and complete the initial processing of following instruments recovered from FOCI, GLOBEC and VENTS oceanographic mooring programs: Aanderaa RCM-7s, Aanderaa RCM-8s, Aanderaa RCM-9s, Aanderaa RCM-11s, Seabird Seacat and Seabird Microcats. The raw data from these instruments will be collected and delivered to contractor for final analysis. The processing of these data requires knowledge of the operation, data sampling and data storage of these instruments to be able to evaluate and analyze the instruments data records. David Pashiski designed the FOCI Data Analysis System which is a unique system to receive data from Aandera current meters, Seabird Seacats, Seabird Microcats to process and analyze the data then convert such data into a format that science can understand and utilize. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $50,000.00.
