- The R2/RMRS Central Administrative Zone - Contracting Office for the USDA Forest Service will be issuing a solicitation for proposals for the following project: DEADHORSE MOUNTAIN AND TROUT CREEK TIMBER SALE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION. SCOPE: Road reconstruction as follows - 1. Road reconstruction work on 5.8 miles on existing Forest Service Road (FSR) 182, 2. Road obliteration work on 0.57 miles on existing FSR 182, and 3. Road reconstruction work on 2.4 miles on existing FSR 315 in Larimer County Colorado. The GOVERNMENT ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE for all three locations combined is between $100,000 and $250,000. Proposals will be accepted for the three separate locations and offers will be considered for each location separately. Contract award may be made to multiple offerors or only one offeror. The anticipated SOLICITATION ISSUANCE date is July 2, 2004. The entire solicitation package will be available electronically only at the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The SOLICITATION CLOSING/DUE date will be August 10, 2004. PRE-BID SITE VISIT: The solicitation will specify the date, if any, of the pre-bid site visit and who to contact to request a site visit.
