Description

Replace Telecommunications and Security Forces Facilities Solicitation W9124X-04-B-0002. Construction services to provide all plant labor, materials, equipment and appliances necessary to the rehabilitation of the south portion of the Nevada Air Nat ional Guard Base in Reno, Nevada. The work will include the construction of a two story structure complete with concrete footings and floor slabs; masonry exterior and interior bearing walls; standing seam metal roofing over metal deck and steel trusses; plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical lighting and power, public address system, fire alarm system and related work. Exterior site work includes asphalt and Portland cement concrete paving; extension of existing sewer, water, underg round electrical and gas service; storm drainage, landscaping; and irrigation service; and incidental related work. Work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with the Plans and the Technical Provisions of the Specifications for Project UCTL 009180, R eplace Telecommunications and Security Forces Facilities at the Nevada Air National Guard Base in Reno, Nevada. The estimated cost range of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000, and the construction performance period is approximately 365 da ys. The North American Industry classification system (NAICS) Code is 236220. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible/responsive bidder. Prime Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor’s registration at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award. It is the responsibility of the bidders to check Nevada Blue’s website for possible amendments to this solicitation prior to bid opening. Bid Opening will be at 2:00 pm local time (ALL BIDS MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE BASE CONTRACTING OFFICE PRIOR TO THIS TIME) on 22 July 2004 at the Base Civ il Engineering Facility conference room.
