Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Request for Proposal (RFP) for a GSA Schedule commercial item buy prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12.6 and supplemental with additional information as included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the RFP; proposals are due on July 23, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. mountain time. This RFP incorporates FAR provisions and clauses through FAC 2001-24. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 332311 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The Statement of Work consists of, but is not limited to, the contractor providing all labor, material, and equipment required to manufacture, transport, install, and do electrical hookup, on a new 40'x94'x16' pre-engineered cold storage metal building designed for seismic zone C, wind exposure C, 90 mph wind, 30 psf roof snow load and 2:12 roof slope including 26 gage lap seam roof panels, 26 gage wall system with gable trim and eave, 6" 3000 psi slab-on-grade with 15% to 20% fly ash and #3 rebar 12" on center in both directions and 6" of ¾" crushed stone base, 3'x94' concrete apron, 200 amp load center, 4-120V electrical outlets, 1-120V weatherproof electrical outlet, one exterior light, 12-100 watt interior lights, six translucent roof panels, 188 linear feet of gutters, 72 linear feet of downspout with 4 splash blocks, five 14'x14' overhead doors with electric openers, and one 3'x7' steel personnel door and frame with ADA levers in accordance with the project drawings. Offers shall include past performance information and references. Offers shall include the information at FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror Representation and Certifications for Commercial Items). Offers shall provide the DUNS Number, Tax Identification Number, and be Electronic Funds Transfer compliant. FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-4, and FAR 52.212-5 apply to this acquisition. Offerors must acquaint themselves with the regulations concerning Commercial Item acquisition contained in FAR Part 12. The referenced FAR clauses are available in full text at http://www.arnet.gov.
