Description

The Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, intends to purchase from Thermo Eberline d/b/a Thermo Electron Corporation, Santa Fe, NM, on a sole source basis, for the following: 1) IdentiFINDER digital hand h eld spectrometer and dose rate meter with nuclide identification (7 each). This requirement is intended to be sole sourced to Thermo Eberline d/b/a Thermo Electron Corporation, as they are the authorized distributor for the hand held instruments manufactu red by Target Systemelectronic. This manufacturer is the sole provider of this item. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. Any resultant contract shall be a firm fixed priced cont ract. Any firms believing that they can provide these or equal items may submit a written reponse with information about their product to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. The respons e must clearly show capability of their item to provide the item without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the equipment and without causing hardship to the program.
