- Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Northern Region Contracting Center at Fort Eustis, VA intends to make award to the Doubletree Hotel, Crystal City, Arlington, VA on a sole-source Non-Competitive basis for lodging of 33 cadets each, 15 Jul-5 Au g 04. Cadets are authorized one day early arrival and/or one day late departure due to flight arrangements. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code V231, Small Business Size Standard $6.0 million and NAICS 721110. Due date for responses to this notice is 06/30/04 by 10:00 A.M. Therefore, in accordance with authority 41 U.S.C. 253(C)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, the government intends to make award to the Radisson Hotel within 3 days after publication of this notice. A fixed price contract is contemplated. A determination not to open the requirement to competition based on responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the agency. The Solicitation can be obtained through the Arm y's Single Face Industry (ASFI website at http://acquisition.army.mil, under contracting opportunities and also at http://www.tac.eustis.army.mil/solicitation/ft%20eustis/ft%20eustis.htm, under solicitations (Ft Eustis).
