Description

The army requires an IDIQ fixed price construction contract to furnish all plant, labor, materials and perform all operations required in connection with constructing and miscellaneous repairs to timber and concrete bridges at Ft. Stewart and Hunter AAF, GA. Work include but is not limited to: 1) Contractor and Government will visit each bridge for the purpose of scoping the work, 2) Contractor will demolish and remove all debris and demolished material to appropriate site. 3) Construct new timber br idges or repair by component replacement as required by the task order to include bulkheads, wingwalls, stringers, decking, piles, caps and miscellaneous bolts and fasteners. 4) Install storm-piping, work to include excavation, backfilling, compacting and grading. Performance time include base and two option years. Magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS code is 237310. SIC code is 1622. This project will be solicited unrestricted. Estimated time for solicitation to be posted is the fourth week in July 2004. Copies of the solicitation must be obtained from this Internet site. Paper copies will not be provided.
