- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Packaging for a Series 2003 $2 Federal Reserve Set. (SEE ATTACHED SPECIFICATIONS FOR PACKAGING AND EVAULATION FACTORS FOR AWARD). The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is unrestricted with regard to business size. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 333993, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0591. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 14TH & C Street S W, Washington D C 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be based on evaluation factors and meeting the requirements and price. All interested firms are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, and DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on July 01, 2004. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Procurement, Attn: Rosa Lee, 14th and C Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-001 or faxed to Rosa Lee at 202-874-2200.
