Description
This requirement is for Contractor Logistical Support for Nuclear, Biological,Chemical Defense Equipment (NBCDE) of the Department of Defense. The contractor shall provide qualified personnel necessary to supplement Government assets and facilities identified by specific task to meet critical logistics requirements to ensure the serviceability and readiness of assigned clothing, equipment and systems maintained at wholesale, retail and consumer stock levels. These stocks are found at Marine Corps/Navy/Air Force/Army (wholesale), and all Services Operating Forces (retail/consumer); to include Reserve (retail/consumer); and within specific areas of the Supporting Establishment (SE) such as recruit depots and schools (consumer). In the process the contractor shall ensure the serviceability and readiness of the individual protective equipment (IPE). Additionally, the contractor shall provide the qualified personnel necessary to supplement Government assets to meet critical logistics requirements to ensure the automated tracking of radioactive items in the Marine Corps inventory. At minimum, the contractor shall provide CLS covering the following broad areas: acquisition, acquisition support, supply chain management, technical, facilities, information management resources, maintenance and maintenance planning, packaging, packing, handling, storage training and training support, support equipment, manpower, and personnel. The contractor shall provide a contract support office in Albany, GA. The Government will lease warehouse space in Ft. Worth, TX to support the Joint Storage Facility operational requirements. The preponderance of work will be accomplished at the contractor’s Albany GA location and the Government’s Joint Storage Facility, Fort Wo rth, TX. The contractor will be required to travel CONUS/OCONUS to Government facilities for the purposes of meetings, briefings, data collection, assessments, and surveillance testing. The preponderance of work will be accomplished at the contractor’s local Albany, GA facility, Ft. Worth, TX, Carlsbad, CA, and Jacksonville, NC. The contractor will be required to travel CONUS/OCONUS to government facilities for the purposes of meetings, briefings, data collection, on-site testing, surveillance and assessments. The preponderance of work will be accomplished at the contractor’s local Albany, GA facility. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) codes for this requirement are 541990. The small business size standard is $6 million. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award. The anticipated contract period will be for a base period of one year and four one-year option periods.
