Description
This requirement is for Contractor Logistical Support for material life cycle management requirements of the Military Sealift Command. The contractor will provide the facilities in Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas, qualified personnel, and materials necessary to supplement Government assets to meet critical logistics requirements to ensure the serviceability and readiness of MSC assigned Chemical, Biological and Radiological Defense (CBR-D) clothing, Force Protection equipment and other Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) stored at the Fort Worth, TX Single Site Storage Facility. At a minimum, the contractor shall provide CLS covering the following broad areas: supply; technical; facilities; computer resources; maintenance and maintenance planning; packaging, handling, and storage; training and training support; support equipment; and manpower and personnel. The contractor will provide a program management office and financial management office. The Government will provide warehouse space in Fort Worth, TX to support the CLS operations. The contractor will provide, if required, specialized facilities such as certified laboratories, chemical surety research and test facilities, animal and life sciences facilities to support chemical and biological test and evaluation requirements, bio-safety level 3 facilities, and ballistic testing facilities. The contractor will provide unique test and support equipment such as convective flow test equipment and the vapor dilution system to the Government if required. The preponderance of work will be accomplished at the Government’s facilities in Fort Worth, TX. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) codes for this requirement are 541990. The small business size standard is $6 million. Offero rs must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award. The anticipated contract period will be for a base period of one year and four one-year option periods.
