- STATEMENT OF WORK: The contractor shall perform for installation: Removal and disposal of all debris that is in excess for both ANNEX and RISELEY Fields to include all dirt, grass, rocks and anything else that is dug out to put in the cement slab for the base of the bleachers. 1. RISELEY Field’s bleachers will be positioned behind the backstop (a) on the first base side and (b) on the third base side of the backstop. Two (2) bleachers will be ten (10) rows deep by 27 feet long, none elevated, all aluminum angle frame, each bleacher includes one (1) four foot aisle with a center aisle hand rail. Eight (8) inch row depth with a twenty four (24) inch aluminum seat boards and two (2) inch by ten (10) inch anodized foot boards, two (2) inch by ten (10) inch mill finished (double each row) aluminum riser board mill finished. 1.66 inch O.D. anodized guard rails and nine (9) gau ge chain link safety fencing at the top and sides to row 3. Net seating about 150 for the 27 foot bleacher and 100 for the 18 foot bleacher. Riesley Field will have both the first and third base side of the field behind the backstop dug up and made ready for concrete work, both cement slabs will be four (4) inches thick by 27 feet long by 25 feet wide. 2. ANNEX Field’s bleachers will be positioned behind the backstop (a) on the first base side (10 by 18) and (b) on the third base side of the backstop (10 by 24). One (1) bleacher will be ten (10) rows deep by 24 feet long and the other one (1) bleacher will be ten (10) rows deep by 18 feet long none elevated, all aluminum angle frame, the other bleacher will be ten (10) rows deep by eighteen (18) feet long, each bleacher includes one (1) four (4) foot aisle with a center aisle hand rail. Eight (8) inch row depth with a twe nty four (24) inch aluminum seat boards and two (2) inch by ten (10) inch anodized foot boards, two (2) inch by ten (10) inch mill finished (double each row) aluminum riser board mill finished. 1.66 inch O.D. anodized guard rails and nine (9) gauge chain link safety fencing at the top and sides to row 3. Net seating about 150 for the 27 foot bleacher and 100 for the 18 foot bleacher. Annex Field will have both the first and third base side of the field behind the backstop dug up and made ready for concrete work, one (1) cement slab will be four (4) inches thick by 18 feet long by 25 feet wide. (4) Each of the four (4) cement slabs will have rebar placed in the thickened edges and in the trough areas below the support lines of the bleacher structure as per engineered design. A monolithic fiber reinforced concrete pour will be considered as an alternative as long as it meets the 3,000 psi, 28 day, requirement. This alternative will also require thickened edges and troughs to meet the design requirements as well as the required thickness at all anchor bolt locations to allow for proper setting of anchors. Each slab will also have control joints cut into the surface once curing time has been reached and in accordance with engineered standards.
