Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Road Reconstruction of Clarks Creek Road #25. Recondition total 2.42 miles of the road. Work items include felling of approximately 210 trees; 305 Cubic yards of borrow; 620 LF of temporary dike; 35 ton Class 3 riprap; 5 special rock embankment sections; 2555 ton crushed aggregate; 24 LF of 18” cmp; 170 LF of 24” cmp and seeding. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 dollars. PROJECT LOCATION: Project is located on the Cherokee National Forest in Washington and Unicoi Counties, TN. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, IFB SAZ 04-04-27, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as an Invitation for Bid and will be available for downloading on or about July 1, 2004 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ . All vendors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ . A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process.
