Description
WANTED TO LEASE OFFICE SPACE TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT The United States Government desires to lease approximately 42,467 rentable square feet of office space, yielding 36,928 usable square feet within the following boundaries in Milwaukee, Wisconsin: NORTH: North Avenue SOUTH: Greenfield EAST: Lake Michigan WEST: 35th Street Seeking first-class office space in an existing or newly constructed office building. The space must be fully serviced and altered to meet the Federal Government's standards for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The space offered must be contiguous. Inside secure parking for 99 parking spaces with the ability to increase by another 10 during course of lease term is also required. The building must have a minimum of 100ft set back on all sides, space for two free standing radio antennas and a 10-foot perimeter fence. Occupancy is desired by September 30, 2006. The lease term will probably be for 15 years. Agency cannot, be collocated with other Federal, State, local government agencies or private firms whose primary clienteles are involved in or have ties to criminal elements. Examples of such agencies are those providing probation and/or parole services, halfway houses, drug abuse counseling/rehabilitation programs, and similar social services and welfare type programs, and private law firms representing drug offenders. Additionally, agency can not be located near residential areas, daycare centers, and schools. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building's ownership.
