- Description
- Contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, materials, other incidentals, and work to include but is not limited to: this work involves the aerial application of a herbicide mixture by rotary wing (helicopter) aircraft. The contractor will fly the designated project areas as identified on the work location map and treat all Saltcedar (Tamarix ssp.) within that area at the rate specified on the work data sheet. The contract will be complete when 250 acres have been treated. Location: All work for this contract is located in Otero County near Tularosa, NM. Work Data Sheet: all herbicide application will be completed under the contracting officers representatives support recommendations regarding teh following: weather conditions, environmental conditions, handling and mixing herbicides, and other conditions deemed needed by technical support. The Project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a 100% small business set-aside. A performance period of 45 calendar days has been established, with actual damages assessed for a delayed performance period. With an estimated start date on or about August 15, 2004. Request for Quotation is due on 9 August, 2004. Payment protection is required in the amount of 100% of quote in the form of an Irrevocable letter or Credit or a Bond.
