Description
UNICOR intends to enter into a five (5) firm fixed price requirements type contract for locks for multiple UNICOR factory location. Solicitation number is FN1201-04 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal. Locks, strike plates, deadbolts, lock assemblies, lock cylinders, and key plugs. Delivery The minimum delivery order quantity for Sheridan, OR is $500.00 and the maximum delivery order quantity is $5,000.00,date requested is 30 days for initial order and 15 days for each subsequent delivery order per factory location. The minimum delivery order quantity for Sheridan, OR is $500.00 and the maximum delivery order quantity is $5,000.00, The minimum delivery order quantity for Forest City, AR is 300 and the maximum delivery order quantity is 6,000, The minimum delivery order quantity for Milan, MI is 2000 and the maximum delivery order quantity is 4,000, The minimum delivery order quantity for Texarkana is 100 and the maximum delivery order quantity is 1,000 The minimum delivery order quantity for Allenwood, PA is 100 and the maximum delivery order quantity is 5,000, The minimum delivery order quantity for Ashland, KY is 100 and the maximum delivery order quantity is 6,000 Variation in quantity +/- 5%. This procurement is a small business set aside. Only offers from small business concerns will be considered. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an all or none basis. Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, 320 First Street NW, Washington, DC 20534, ATTN: Bid Custodian. This information shall be displayed on the outside of the envelope with the solicitation number and offer closing date. All offerors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references. References must be for same or similar items. All Offerors must complete the ACH form and the CCR Registration, which can be found on UNICOR’s webpage at www.unicor.gov. For the ACH form click on business commercial opportunities, navigate to, procurement forms and click on ACH form and print. For CCR Registration scroll down the page to Central Contractor Registration and complete internet based form. Fax proposals are accepted at 202-353-7794, Attn: Bid Custodian, the fax cover sheet shall reference the solicitation number and offer closing date and time. All offerors must acknowledgment all amendments if any. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: Past Performance, Specification, and price. If you are using best value, pricing is never the most important factor to be considered. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The solicitation will be available on Fedbizops at www.eps.gov on or about Thursday June 24, 2004. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered.
