Description
This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for a small business set-aside. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has identified a need for the development and implementation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) brake system in service training program appropriate to the needs of State motor safety personnel that is applicable to a long distance learning environment. To include student/instructor manuals, work projects, case studies, tests, audio visual aids, job aids, web-based training, CD ROM training and stand-alone instructor kits. This solicitation will only be released and available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Accordingly, NO written, telephone, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. However, interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements/notifications of postings by e-mail. The Government anticipates issuing a Solicitation on or about 03/06/2004 by posting it on the website www.fedbizopps.gov. Estimated proposal due date is on or about 04/06/2004, with an estimated award date of 06/08/2004. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it will be the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps.gov website for any solicitation amendments. The FMCSA anticipates making one award as a result of this solicitation. The FMCSA anticipates that the resulting contract will be a fixed price labor hour/task order contract. The estimated period of performance is twelve months. The NAIC Code for this solicitation is 611430. NO OTHER PROCUREMENT INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (20-FEB-2004).
