- Description
- The Coast Guard seeks to award one or more contracts for the procurement of rework services for HC130 Traffic Collision and Avoidance System (TCAS II Components) for a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option period not to exceed a total of five years. The following are the estimated annual requirements: NSN 5821-01-451-0760, P/N 066-50000-0108, TCAS Computer, Base Year 12 each, Option Year One 25 each, Option Year Two 30 each, Option Year Three 30 each, Option Year Four 30 each; NSN 6610-01-451-1217, P/N 066-50001-0904, Vertical Speed Indicator (VSI), Base Year 12 each, Option Year One 15 each, Option Year Two 15 each, Option Year Three 15 each, Option Year Four 15 each; NSN: 1680-01-451-0835, P/N 071-01480-0036, Control Mode S, Base Year 4 each, Option Year One 4 each, Option Year Two 4 each, Option Year Three 4 each, Option Year Four 4 each; NSN 6610-01-HS1-4377, P/N 066-01171-0904, VSI, TCAS, Base Year 3 each, Option Year One 3 each, Option Year Two 3 each, Option Year Three 5 each, Option Year Four 10 each; NSN 6610-01-HS1-4377, P/N 066-01171-0904, Exchange of a obsolete IVA81A for a new IVA81D, Base Year 25 each, Option Year One 25 each, Option Year Two 25 each, Option Year Three 25 each, Option Year Four 20 each. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide drawings or specifications for these items. This requirement will be satisfied using commercial acquisition procedures specified in FAR Part 12. Offerors must possess a current OEM certification to perform rework service on the items listed above and must provide proof of these certifications with their proposals. Offerors not possessing either of these certifications must provide proof of subcontracting agreement with an approved source with their proposal. Offerors must be Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified. This procurement will be set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 334511 and the size standard is 1000 employees. Solicitation No. DTCG38-03-R-H00008 will be released on or about 26 August 2003.
