Description
Solicitation of Vendors to Exhibit Healthcare Products and/or Sponsor Conference Items at the 2004 Unified Biostatistical Utility (UBU) & Uniform Business Office (UBO) Conference, July 12-16, 2004. Department of Defense (DoD), Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs) (OASD(HA), the Executive Director, TRICARE Management Activity (TMA), Resource Management Directorate are seeking up to 30 exhibitors and sponsors to exhibit healthcare products and/or services at the UBU - UBO Conference. The conference location will be at the Town & Country Hotel, 500 Hotel Circle North, San Diego, CA 92108. UBU and UBO have joined forces again this year to sponsor the second annual UBU-UBO Conference. This conference will feature numerous educational and training sessions exploring the various components of healthcare revenue cycle management to include patient administration, medical coding, utilization management, insurance billing and reimbursement, resource management, managed care operations, medical information systems, marketing and customer service. Products or services must be applicable to management and/or delivery of healthcare within the DoD managed care environment. The conference will include an Exhibit Hall to be open three days from July 13-15, 2004. Additional information regarding the nature of exhibits sought will be provided in the exhibitor prospectus. Exhibit space will consist of 8ft. x 10ft. booths with pipe and drape, one 6ft. skirted table and two chairs. The exhibit booth cost is $1,250.00. All arrangements will be made through the conference support contractor, Standard Technology, Inc.
