Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 421430 and is a 100% small business set aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-21. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation provide the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following technical factors shall be used to evaluate offers, not listed in order of precedence: (1) Technical capability of the items offered to meet the agency need; (2) Quality of items; (3) Meet or exceed delivery date of 14 days after receipt of order (ARO), of all components; and (4) Price. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing and must reference the solicitation number. All quotes must be received in this office by 12:00 p.m. EST on 28 June 2004, addressed to the Attention of Mr. Travis J. Brown and reference the solicitation number.
