- SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with L3-Communication Systems ? West, Salt Lake City, UT, for the extension of warranty coverage on DMCS terminals. The DMCS Out of Warranty coverage will include all baseline DMCS system elements and spares that have been delivered by L-3 Communications, Communication Systems- West (L-3 CS-W). . The DMCS terminal design is proprietary. They are responsible for developing additional system upgrades, such as the addition of a Ka-Band capability to the system. Maintaining warranty services through CSW will ensure that compatibility will be maintained between all terminals. A Time & Materials Type of contract is anticipated. The total estimated value is $3,880,200.00. The FSC Code is 5820. The NAICS Code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
