- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quotation, numbered F4600-04-T-0108. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-23. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 532111 and the small business size standard is $21.5 million. Government intends to award (1) contract, but reserves the right to accept partial quotes. The government intends to issue an order for the following vehicle rentals: 0001 Mid-Size Sedans (Fuel & gars fee included) 60 ea. (17?23 Aug 04); 0002 Mini-Vans, 7 Passenger, (Fuel & gars fee included) 19 ea. (17?23 Aug 04); The following rental vehicles are to be used for the 2004 Offutt AFB Air Show/Open House. Vehicles are to be delivered by vendor to Offutt AFB, 517 Sac Blvd., Bldg. T-47, northern parking lot, Show Control on 17 August 2004 starting at 08:00 A.M. with full fuel tanks. Vehicles will be ready for pick-up starting on 22 Aug 2004 at 05:00 P.M., but no later than 23 Aug 2004 at 04:00 P.M. Send quotes to charles.jones2@offutt.af.mil. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations. The following Provisions/Clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.204-7, Central Contract Registration, FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items (which includes: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers (29 U.S.C. 793); 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.232-18 Availability of Funds; Successful offeror shall be required to include a complete copy of the provisions of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror's Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. DFAR 252.204-7004 (Alt A), Required Central Contractor Registration applies. Awards cannot be made to contractors who are not registered in the Central Contractor Registration at time of award.
