- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of fifty-three (53) Peak Power Sensors, part number 57318, NSN 6625-01-496-1715, from Boonton Electronics Corporation, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). These sensors are required for on-site maintenance, fault, isolation, and system certification of the Airport Surveillance Radar-11. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Boonton Electronics Corporation, Parsippany, NJ, in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. A market survey was conducted June 9 ???15, 2004, and the results of this survey support our determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm.
