Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Fruit Fly Rearing Facility, Moore Air Base, Edinburg Texas, has a need for either primary grown, non-viable dried torula yeast, candida utilis (Henneberg), or primary grown, dried brewer's yeast, saccharomyces cerevesiae (Hansen), for delivery to Edinburg, Texas. This product will be used in the production of sterile Mexican fruit flies. This procurement will be awarded as a commercial supply firm-fixed-price contract, FOB destination. NAICS Code is 311999 and Size Standard is 500 employees. Request for Proposal 034-M-APHIS-04, will be released on or about July 14, 2004.
