Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 5114-4-0038 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23. The NAICS code applicable to this solicitation is 519190. For a company to qualify as a small business, the small business standard is 6.0 million. The USA, ARS, MWA, National Center for Agricultural Utilization (NCAUR) Library, Peoria, IL has a requirement/need for subscriptions to scientific journals. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Quantity Contract for scientific journal subscriptions for a base and four option years. LINE ITEM NO. 01: One-year renewal subscriptions to the following list of journals at Publisher's List Price, for the period January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005; The following journal titles should be supplied in print (or online and print if the online access is included with the print subscription price) for a one year subscription.
