- Description
- HSCG87-04-R-643176. Yakutat 190? Tower, Yakutat, Alaska. The project includes purchasing and constructing a new 190? self-supporting galvanized steel tower at Yakutat, Alaska, prefabricated communications hut, lighting, fencing, foundation work, and the installation of all utilities needed. The contractor will be required to submit a proposed foundation and tower design to be evaluated by a third party engineering firm. All work shall be completed prior to November 15, 2004. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237130 and the applicable size standard is $28.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible businesses may submit a proposal. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Selection for award will be based upon best value to the government considering experience, past performance, and price. The Government anticipates award based on initial proposals without discussions. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents, may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about 8 July 2004) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time for receipt of proposals. The technical data package (specifications and drawings) will only be available through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FEDTeDS) website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FEDTeDS database to be able to access the technical data package.
