- NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF SOLICITATION F48608-03-R0003. This acquisition is a competitive set aside for certified 8(a) small business concerns. This acquisition is competitively set aside for 8(a) concerns in Regions 7, 8, 9, and 10. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561210, and Standard Industry Classification (SIC Code) 8744, with a size standard of $23 million. This project involves but is not limited to the daily operations and management of the F.E. Warren AFB housing Management Office, Furnishing Management Office, and Housing Maintenance functions. The contractor shall provide management oversight and the work force skills to perform all functions identified in this acquisition. Contractor personnel will be responsible for Referral Services, assisting DOD personnel in finding community housing, assignment and termination of Government housing management functions of the furnishing warehouse, and dormitory reporting requirements. The contractor will be responsible for minor quarters maintenance including appliance repair and/or removal and installation, and change of occupancy cleaning/maintenance. The contractor will also perform maintenance of records, customer service, and training as required. The solicitation is for a basic plus one option year period. Faxed or telegraph offers will not be accepted. The negotiation technique to be utilized for the contemplated award of the issued solicitation is Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). The solicitation will be available on or about 21 February 2003 via the Internet at the following address: www.eps.gov. At the home page select EPS for Vendors. A series of indexes will follow requiring this selection: USAF ? Offices; Air Force Space Command ? Offices 90CONS ? Posted Dates. Active solicitations will be listed in accordance with their date of issuance. When the solicitation is downloaded, it is important to read the solicitation COMPLETELY as there are DATES that MUST be met by the prospective offeror in order for their proposal to be considered responsive.
