Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular. The Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office Northeast currently has a requirement for workbenches in support of WTBN located at Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA. See the attachment for a breakout of the line items/parts required. The desired delivery date for the workbenches is 15 July 2004. Evaluation Criteria is as follows: The Government will make one award to the responsible firm (see FAR Part 9-104. This part defines ?r esponsible?) that has the lowest overall price, can offer the best delivery date, and can supply brand name or equal items. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offerors: (1) The offeror shall propose brand name or equal items and include furnishing descriptive literature and specifications for each item. See FAR clause 52.211-6 ? Brand Name or Equal. The offeror is encouraged to propose items on their current GSA contract. (2) Lowest overall price ? discounts are encouraged. (3) The Government?s desired delivery date is 15 July 2004. (4) The Government proposes to enter into a firm fixed price contract. FAR Clauses 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5 apply to this combined synopsis/solicitation. NOTE: If offeror proposes GSA pricing the following documents shall be submitted with their proposal: (1) Offeror?s GSA cover page that reflects their curre nt GSA contract number. (2) Terms and conditions of the offerors GSA contract. (3) The offeror shall identify the page numbers of their GSA contract that encompasses all of the line items that are reflected in the attachment (schedule of line items). All proposals shall be delivered to the attention of Susanne Breeden. Proposals sent via email to the attention of Susanne Breeden are acceptable. See Susanne?s email address below. NOTE: Offerors are advised to verify by email to Susanne Breeden via email that their proposals reached the correct address. Should you have questions or need clarification regarding this requirement, please submit them via email by no later than 28 June 2004 by 12:00 PM to Susanne.Breeden@usmc.mil. Any questions received after this date will not be addressed by the Government. All proposals are due by close of business on 2 July 2004. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
