Description
NAVSEA, INDIAN HEAD, has a requirement for 1 each Centrifuge-High Speed in accordance with requirement specificiation. We are seeking essentially a single-axis, souped-up motion machine (rate table) that satisifies the performance requirement as follow: Industrial centrifuge capable of subjecting an electrically-powered payload (maximum mass= 10 lbs./4.54 kg) to 25,000 g's centripetal force. Must have a containment shield. Must have 12 data acquisition channels wired into slip rings. By definition, such a device must be an industrial-strength, military/aerospace test unit for the loads involved. The delivery schedule will be 90 days after day of contract or better. This is a full and open solicitation. This is a first time buy. This solicitation will be available for downloading from our website beginning approximately 01 July 2004. Prior to this date, you will not be ab le to access this solicitation. When available, copies of this solicitation can only be obtained from the Navsea, Indian Head Internet web page. To Register for this solicitation, you must email the following information directly to Kay V Proctor at proctorkv@ih.navy.mil. Solicitation number (in subject line of your email); name of the requestor; Organization name, address, telephone and fax number; and your email address. Use your email read notification feature to confirm the Contract Specialist's receipt of your registration. The government is not responsible for any undelivered e-mail transmissions. It's the requestor's responsibility to periodically check the Navsea, Indian Head Contracts Division website for current status of solicitations and amendments. Once the solicitation has been issued on the internet, the contract specialist will send an e-mail message t o the registered requestors informing them that the solicitation is now available for downloading off the internet. Copies of issued solicitations can only be obtained by downloading them from the Navsea, Indian Head Contracts Division website at http:// www.ih.navy.mil/contracts (" copies of solicitations will not be e-mailed, faxed, mailed, or provided in person, these types of requests WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED"). Note: All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in DoD's Central Contractor Registration database.
