- Description
- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to remove three (3) LPG underground tanks at the Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery (NWR), Celina, Tennessee. The Solicitation includes the base bid for the removal of three (3) LPG underground tanks, replace with one (1) above ground LPG tank Work under this requirement consists of the removal and/or the permanent closure of three (3) underground liquid propane gas (LPG) storage tanks, the complete installation of one (1) 1,000 gallon aboveground LPG tank, valves, regulators, tank filled with LPG, and system satisfactorily tested, to include earthwork, concrete, fencing, connection to existing gas service lines, accessories and all other associated construction work and appurtenances as identified in the drawings and as called for in the specifications for a complete and operating system. This solicitation is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 237990 is applicable to this solicitation. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 06/21/2004, with a 07/06/2004 closing date. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 07/08/2004. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The FWS is currently using Electronic Commerce to issue solicitations and the resulting award. The RFQ documents will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov, or the National Business Center website: http://ideasec.nbc.gov under RFQ Number 401814Q077. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. In order to submit a quote on-line, you must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at http://www.ccr.gov and use of a Dun and Bradstreet (Duns) and Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN) is required.
