Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for a firm-fixed price construction contract for the Red Bluff Diversion Dam Pumping Plant Expansion and Upgrade approximately 2 miles southeast of Red Bluff California in Tehama County. Principal features of the work include: mobilization and preparatory work; concrete removal; water removal and control; excavation; removal and installation of existing miscellaneous metalwork; removal, cleaning and reinstallation of existing steel pipe and associated equipment; removal and reinstallation of existing screw centrifugal-type pumping unit; removal and reinstallation of existing fish transfer flume and holding tanks; removal and reinstallation of existing 3-ton jib crane; removal and reinstallation of existing electrical equipment and cable. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Period of Performance is 490 Days. This competitive requirement is a 100% set-aside for 8(a). NAICS Code is: 237990 and size standard is: $28.5M. Solicitation 04SI202038 will be posted on the FEDBIZ OPS web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 30, 2004. The estimated date for receipt of bids is on or about August 30, 2004. The solicitation and specifications MUST be downloaded at the above site, with drawings being mailed to you by hardcopy. No paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed with the exception of the drawings. You must register on the Bidder's Mailing List to receive the drawings.
