Description

The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, work and facilities necessary to perform all operations, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The scope of work for this project includes the following: (1) repair and replace the existing pond liner and screening system for the Power Plant Cooling Pond; (2) dewatering and cleaning of the pond; (3) partial demolition and reconstruction of existing concrete intake structure and screens; (4) removal of ballast and repair of gunite substrate; (5) installation of new pond liner membrane; (6) removal of existing pump, gate valve, piping, cooling tower foundation, electrical service and fencing; (7) construction of new cooling water piping, grading, seeding, and all incidental work for a complete and operational system. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237110 with a size standard of $28.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This acquisition is being solicited under full and open competition conditions. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE VIA CD-ROM. AMENDMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE INTERNET ONLY. Award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract and the total performance period is 360 calendar days. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available on or about 07 July 2004.
