- Description
- The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, work and facilities necessary to perform all operations, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The scope of work for this project includes the following: (1) demolish existing boiler water make-up system and replace with a two-stage reverse osmosis (RO) system; (2) the new RO system will be installed in parallel with an existing single-stage RO unit to provide system redundancy; (3) install two each new deepwell pumps to meet system water demands; (4) install a new 5-micron particulate filter and anti-scaling chemical injection system. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237110 with a size standard of $28.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This acquisition is being solicited under full and open competition conditions. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE VIA CD-ROM. AMENDMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE INTERNET ONLY. Award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract and the total performance period is 180 calendar days. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available on or about 07 July 2004.
