- Description
- CABLE TELEVISION SERVICE. The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB FL intends to award a contract for cable television services services. Cable service is required for an estimated 1370 residence and dormitories, 855 billeting outlets, and 250 miscellaneous appropriated outlets. The contractor must demonstrate that signals provided can be received in all connected units prior to contract award. The existing cable conduit is government-owned, however, the infrastructure and network are not owned by the Government. Programming will be provided 24hr/day 7 days a week. A government-furnished on-base business office must be manned daily by the contractor and adequately staffed to transact all necessary business, including payments of bills, during regular business hours. One access channel will be required for on-base subscribers for local broadcasts. A minimum of 60 basic channels will be required. The solicitation package will be available on or about 06 Jun 2004. A site visit is scheduled for on or about 10 Jun 2004.
