Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intents to lole source the following requirement for services to JEN Associates, Inc. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541512. The purpose of the project is to standardize and integrate VA and Medicare and Medicaid data for veterans with multiple eligibilities of health coverage for analytical purposes. This effort would consit of developing the linkages; preparing three analytical database files (i.e. demographics/eligibility, diagnostics/procedures, and utilization/cost); and developing a user-friendly data delivery system. This project will enable VA to analyze in a more consistent manner variations or inequities in veteran access, utilization, cost, quality, and veteran choices at the national, VISN, State, and market areas with current applied proprietary algorithms. The data belongs to the Government but the algorithms is JEN Associates, Inc. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that the action may be competed. A determination by the Government not to compete tis requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
