Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-23. This procurement is a Total Set-Aside for Small Business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation is RFQ 600-717-04IM. The solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 511210. DESCRIPTION: (1) Xerox DocuShare Version 3.1 ungrade, (2) Standard Support for Xerox DocuShare Version 3.1 upgrade. Manufacturer shall be an authorized Xerox DocuShare reseller. Shall allow payments to billed in arrears for the Standard Support. This procurement is to obtain computer software, Xerox DocuShare Version 3.1 upgrade, single server - 1,000 users and Standard Support shall be included. The server is physically located at 3350 La Jolla Village Dr. San Diego, CA 92161. The DocuShare functionality provides computer assistance by posting documents efficiently to the web for our VISN customers and meets regulatory requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit a proposal. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by 4:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, June 30, 2004, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
