Description

The National Institute and Administration's (NIST) Engineering, Maintenance, Safety, and Support Division (EMSS) intends to contract with, on a sole source basis, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (5) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, with the Public Works Division, City of Boulder, CO, for the signalization of Rayleigh Road and State Highway 93 at Boulder Laboratories 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO, site, and providing signal timing adjustments to the existing entrance. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), and the City of Boulder have come to agreement with the proposed traffic signal based upon the review of the traffic information, analysis, and Traffic Signal Warrant Package report provided by Entranco, Inc., that indicated the volumes and vehicle turning movements will meet signal warrants. There is no solicitation package available. No awards will be made on the basis of requests for response this notice. See numbered note 22 (http:/fedbizopps.gov), however the 45 days for receipt of response has been changed to read 15 days.
