Description

The Atomic Physics Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement to implement a performance-based on-site maintenance agreement for one (1) Spectra-Physics Model 2040E-25 (S/N 416E) Argon-Ion Laser System. The specific coverage and terms are included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this coverage will be issued on or about June 21, 2004, under FAR Part 12, Commercial Item Acquisition utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The performance period will begin 08/01/04 and continue for one (1) year, and include three (3) option periods of one (1) year each. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price Purchase Order on or about July 15, 2004. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will only be available via the internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant Purchase Order. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained. Potential offerors are requested to direct all questions via e-mail to randy.schroyer@nist.gov. To be eligible for award, offerors MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registry: www.ccr.gov.
