- Description
- This project is to provide and install six (6) multi-line remote control dispatch console systems for use by the Sequoia National Forest in a two way mobile radio system. The system described shall be wired for six communications Control Operator Positions with the ability to add a fully integrated Sixth position at remote location in the future. The system shall be wired to control thirty-four base station radios, but equipped to support forty radios. The system shall be wired to control fifteen analog loop-start phone lines, but equipped for twenty-four lines. The only parts required to expand from the equipped capacity to the wired capacity shall be plug in cards, wiring and operator positions. The system shall employ a 256 port non-blocking Time division Multiplexing (TDM) digital audio switch. Each position will require a monitor card and an LCD Touch Screen for radio and telephone operation.
