PART: SPECIAL NOTICES OFFADD: Tennessee Valley Authority, Environmental Research Center, Reservation Road, Post Office Box 1010, Muscle Shoals, Alabama 35662 SUBJECT: COMMERCIALIZATION OPPORTUNITY FOR MERCURY MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGY DESC: The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) intends to license, on an exclusive and/or non-exclusive basis, a technology related to the measurement of mercury in gases. Specifically, a gas-phase technology that converts oxidized mercury to elemental mercury to permit the measurement of total mercury in exhaust gases (patent number 5,879,948). This technology can be integrated into a mercury continuous emissions monitoring system for accurate, real-time measurement and speciation of mercury in gases. Potential licensees or buyers should express interest in the technology in writing by mail or fax to TVA no later than July 9, 2004, including a brief statement of your experience and capabilities to commercialize the technology. TVA's Research & Technology Applications staff will be available on a fee basis for technology engineering and commercialization support.
