Description

The General Services Administration intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition, to Audio Visual Innovations located in Cypress California. The purpose of this procurement is upgrade audiovisual equipment in Building 15, classrooms 2,5,6,7, & 149 to support the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific (EWTGP) in San Diego California. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 517910 and the size standard is $12.5 million. All interested parties must submit a capability statement that sufficiently describes their qualifications, capabilities, and previous experience related to fulfilling a similar requirement via e-mail to donna.jones@gsa.gov by 5:00 p.m., PST, on 25 June 2004. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
