- Description
- The National Park Service, Badlands National Park, Interior, South Dakota, is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations to enter into a firm fixed price contract for solid waste refuse collection and removal service at Badlands National Park. Work under this project consists of providing the necessary labor, equipment, supplies, debris boxes, and transportation to collect, remove, and dispose of refuse. Refuse will be collected from, but not limited to, commercial and warehouse buildings, campground sites and concessionaire operated buildings. The contract will be awarded for one base year and four one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The base year and each option period will be awarded and exercised subject to the availability of each fiscal year's funds. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract to the vendor who offers the best value of price and past performance. It is suggested that all who intend to submit an offer begin immediately rather than awaiting receipt of solicitation (Q1300040057) . The National Park Service welcomes the participation of small, minority, and women owned enterprises. The NAICS Code for this project is 562111, with a small business size standard of $10.5 million. This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about (June 30, 2004). The magnitude of this solicitation is estimated Between $25,000 and $100,000. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The date for submission of offers is (July 30, 2004) unless amendments are issued to the solicitation. The date listed for submission of offers is an approximate date; refer to the solicitation for the actual date. In order to download a copy of the solicitation, vendors will be asked to register their company with the electronic commerce website. Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024 and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN).
