Description
Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work complete in place, as shown on the drawings, specified in the specification, or as needed to construct canopy, helicopter washrack, including but not limited to, a structural steel-framed canopy system with standing seam metal roofing to cover the existing wash rack area, as well as an office building with single toilet room, constructed of split-faced CMU on reinforced concrete footings, reinforced concrete floor slab, gable roof with pre-engineered light gauge steel trusses and standing seam metal roof and fascia panels to match adjacent storage building and other related work at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City, Florida and Pensacola. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237110 with a size standard of $27.5M; the SIC code was 1623. This contract will be a ?Price Performance Trade-Off? contract; award will be made based on the ?Best Value? to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Performance period is 180 calendar days. The estimated contract value is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 16th Civil Engineer Squadron. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 16 Jul 04. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
