Description
This project consists of the installation of new marine pipelines, construction of new 400sf pier addition, installation of new marine power line that will require divers to attach power cable to the pipeline anchor system of the new pipeline, and removal and disposal of sixteen old pilings, all within Clam Bay at the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Manchester Field Station, Port Orchard, WA. Two optional bid items will be included and are as follows: extension of pipelines (approximately 250 feet) to treatment building and extension of electrical lines (approximately 250 feet) to switch gear location. The estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Project must be completed by November 1, 2004. Solicitation documents will be available for download on or about June 29, 2004. A written request, along with the check or money order, must be sent to NOAA/WASC/AMD, Attention: Kristina Loesell, 7600 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle WA 98115-6349. Telephone or facsimile requests for the solicitation package will not be accepted. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990 and a concern is considered a small business if its average annual receipts are $28.5 million or less. A presolicitation announcement is being issued concurrently with this notice. For a copy of the solicitation, you must register on the FBO to "receive notification" as well as registering as an "interested vendor". Upon release of the solicitation to the FedBizOpps for download, registered vendors will receive an email notifying you that the solicitation is now available.
